Part III: Toronto Steetcar Ride |

Toronto was nice in
that I didn't get harassed at all for taking lots of photos of streetcars and
trains. Usually, in other cities, when I take a bunch of pictures in a concentrated
area someone (security or police) eventually comes up to see what I'm up to. It's
seldom a problem (although I have no desire to take any photos of Denver Union Station
anytime soon, long story), but it was still refreshing to either be ignored or actually
encouraged when taking pics.
So when I encountered Patrick's streetcar on Spadina and he started asking me questions, I
thought he might have been ready to complain at my excessive snapping away. Instead,
he invited me aboard and gave me a great tour of the Spadina line. While we chatted
for the next hour or so, I was snapping away out the front window. Thanks, Patrick!

Friday and Saturday went by too quickly, all like a happy blur. Sadly, I left
Toronto on Sunday on the Via train back to Windsor. But I'll be back. :)
