Kalamazoo station is on the Chicago-Detroit Michigan Services Wolverine and Blue Water routes between Dowagiac and Battle Creek, Michigan.  Built by the Michigan Central Railroad, this station is nearly 120 years old (as of this writing).  The Kalamazoo Amtrak station is the centerpiece of the recent Intermodal Transportation Center federal grant, which included restoring and preserving the train station.
