Amtrak Cascades (2005)
  
  
I left Portland, on my way to Vancouver, BC. I had reserved a Cascades train from Portland to Seattle. From there, I transferred to a bus from Seattle to Vancouver. I would have liked to take a train from Seattle to Vancouver, but unfortunately there were no options that didn't require an overnight stay in Seattle.
  
The Cascades train I took was very nice. Being on it reminded me of the Acela ride I had taken a few years back. The interiors of these Talgo trainsets are more cozy and modern than what you'll find on most of the other Amtrak trains out there.
